Devlog Entry 4: Lack of Engagement

You can actually see some of my inspiration with the moodboard above

I realize my game is lacking in excitement. The concept isn't funny or original, and I need to improve it. A few ideas are coming up, mostly around the drone, cameras, and the ability to hack systems. I could play with physics, integrate IR glasses to see security beams, and explore verticality, like climbing walls and ceilings.
Maybe I could make the player control a spider, navigating through cameras and sneaking around? I like the idea of walking around without being detected, adding tension and stress, like in Alien.
I definitely need to work on feedback and feel to make the gameplay more engaging and immersive.
