Devlog Entry 1: Focusing on Gameplay Over Graphics
Backdoor » Devlog

August 15, 2024
I've decided to start a small project, something simple but fun. After days of thinking, I realize that I really need to focus on gameplay and game design. Graphics don't matter for now. I'll stick to what I know and keep it simple. It's important not to get lost in unnecessary details, or I'll just spin in circles. I want to improve my skills in gameplay and design, and maybe learn shaders along the way.
I've had a few ideas, but nothing that excites me much yet. I feel like I'm getting bogged down when I should just keep things straightforward.
