Devlog Entry 2: Struggling with Focus
Backdoor » Devlog

August 25, 2024
I'm going in circles, and game dev feels like a real headache. The initial idea isn't exciting, and the gameplay lacks originality. However, I found a starting point: merging two prototypes I had, Darkhide and ProjectID. Both were set in hangars, one with a drone and the other without much gameplay. Now, I want to combine these two worlds to create something cohesive.
Here are some clear objectives to move forward:
- Integrate a camera viewing system.
- Allow interactions with keypads on foot.
- Use the drone to access areas that are otherwise unreachable.
